"The CEB chairman cannot escape by lying" - United Trade Union Alliance

“The CEB chairman was pressured by the President. Can't say sorry now. Convener of the CEB Joint Trade Union Alliance Ranjan Jayalal called for his immediate resignation.

Mr. Jayalal said it was ridiculous to say that his statement at the COPE Committee that Prime Minister Modi had pressured President Adani to hand over the Sri Lankan energy project to India's Adani Company was due to stress and that it was honorable for him to resign from the COPE Committee, saying that what he had said at the COPE Committee was true.

He said that not only the President and the Prime Minister of India but also the President, MPs and ministers of this country have fallen into the pockets of Adani.

If the country does not have the money or investors to start solar and wind power projects, it is understandable to start with a foreign company, but why should Adani give it to itself, Mr. Jayalal said.

Therefore, the Chairman of the CEB MCC He further added that Ferdinando's statement at the COPE recently was "true" and could not be dismissed as "false" or "false".

He said other officials should know in the future that such serious statements that he did not have lunch or was under pressure could not be reversed.
